   Achmad Yurianto was born in Malang, East Java, March 11, 1962. He is a graduate of Sebelas Maret University Faculty of Medicine.
He began his career as a military doctor, precisely as the Chief Military Officer of the Brawijaya Military Regional V in 1987.
Four years later he was assigned as the Chief Military Officer IX of Udayana Bali.
Exactly 2006, he was appointed Deputy Head of Dustira Level II Hospital, Bandung, West Java.Two years later he became Deputy Head of Military Region IV Diponegoro, Semarang.
In 2009 he became the Chief of Military Region XI Patimura Ambon, Maluku. For two years he was promoted to head of the TNI Medical Center Operations Support Service.
His career at the Ministry of Health began in 2015, he was asked several times to help victims of natural disasters in Indonesia on the sidelines of his position as Head of the Ministry of Health's Crisis Center.
In 2019, he was entrusted to be Secretary of the Directorate General of P2P Ministry of Health, inauguration was carried out, March 9, 2020.
Launching from Kompas.com as quoted from the Ministry of Health's website, after his inauguration, Yuri highlighted the Healthy Living Movement (Germas) program. He said, Germas was no longer a matter of the stage of socialization, but had to continue to civilize Germas.

He considered there are still many health problems that must be resolved, including, about Covid-19.
"Now Covid-19 is still, now it's dengue, we still have problems with tuberculosis, we still have problems with malaria," he said.
